Announcing the Launch of Our New Online Ticket Resolution Pilot Program

Jun 13, 2017

The 36th District Court is pleased to announce the launch of a new Online Ticket Resolution Program for eligible traffic civil infractions issued by the Michigan State Police.

The new program is a quick and efficient way to resolve traffic civil infractions online rather than appearing in person for a court hearing.

Individuals will have the option to request consideration for a plea offer to a lesser or no point violation by answering a few simple questions.  A Magistrate will review the individual’s eligibility and driving record, applying the same criteria as an in-person court appearance, and provide a response within 72 hours.  The party will then have the opportunity to accept or reject the offer.

This alternative option was developed by utilizing current technology and automation to further the Court’s commitment to accessibility and offer additional enhancements to the public.  We are confident that you will find the new online program beneficial and time-saving and encourage you to take advantage of this new, convenient service.

Your Feedback is important to the Court.  Your comments and suggestions will assist us in continuing improvements to our customers’ experience and better services to the public.
