graduated in 1986 from Lutheran High School West and in 1990
from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where she studied
Political Science, Women's Studies and African American
Studies. She graduated in 1995 from the University of
Detroit-Mercy Law School.
Magistrate
Sherman worked at Wayne County Corporation Counsel under then
Head Counsel Jennifer M. Granholm and at Kitch, Drutchas,
Wagner and Kenney before starting her own practice.
She
lives in Detroit where she co-parents her son and belongs to
community-based organizations including the University of
Detroit-Mercy Law School Alumni Association, the University of
Michigan Alumni Association and is a member of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church.
