Judge Patricia L. Jefferson
	Judge Jefferson is a native Detroiter and attended Detroit Public Schools. She received her Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University and her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Law. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1986. Judge Jefferson practiced both civil and criminal law prior to being elected to the 36th District Court in November, 1996. She is currently serving a six year term.
