Effective December 17, 2021, email accounts associated with Landlord-Tenant courtrooms will no longer be monitored by staff. Any submissions received via email as of December 17, 2021, will not be reviewed or processed.  

If you wish to submit any pleading not requiring a filing fee you may

  1. fax it to 313-967-7551,
  2. mail it to the Court or
  3. file it in person at the Civil/Landlord-Tenant Division counter on the 2nd Floor of the Court. 

If your pleading requires a filing fee you may file

  1. by mail, 
  2. in person at the Court or
  3. by using the on-line submission option found on the Court’s website.  

Please note that legal aid entities filing a motion must submit a fee waiver with their motion if they are not submitting a motion fee.
